{Recipe}: Chocolate Brownie Batter Protein Shake

This recipe had me from hello… I mean “Chocolate”.  And does it deliver!  Chocolate brownie smoothie

It’s a meal.  It tastes like dessert.  And it it doubles as a smart post-workout snack, loaded with protein and delicious chocolatey flavor. A banana base thickens the texture, while a hint of coffee intensifies the rich chocolatey goodness. Next time you’re craving a brownie, make this protein shake for a healthy, vegan alternative!


  • 1 whole banana, frozen
  • 0.25 cup coffee, brewed
  • 0.75 cup non-dairy milk
  • 1 scoop of protein powder
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1 dash vanilla
  • 1 dash salt
  • 1 teaspoon dairy-free mini chocolate chips


Pull all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.  Enjoy!
