There is a place in you that contains within it the most sacred, profound energies of your soul. It’s the space where the part of you that is infinite and eternal comes to meet you, bringing with it unconditional love, peace, calm and wisdom.
Before your thinking-mind runs off with thoughts of “that’s crazy! If that were true I would have known that by now!”… stop.
Drop into your body. Breath and ask if this is true.
You see, your body never lies. Ask a question and the truth will feel light or expansive. An un-truth will feel more like compression or depression, heavy. This is the tool I use to assess so many situations in my life and choose what my next right step is. Does it feel light?
So, with that in mind let’s revisit our original sentiment:
There is a place in you that contains within it the most sacred, profound energies of your soul. It’s the space where the part of you that is infinite and eternal comes to meet you, bringing with it unconditional love, peace, calm and wisdom.
Light or heavy?
Light, right?
This sacred space is the meeting grounds for that still small voice that lives inside speaking from your higher self, your essential self, that inner God-self.
I have found that this place is where the deepest healing can take place. It is the space where we meet the Truth of who we came here to be and set aside the lies we’ve bought into over time that limit who we are and what we can achieve.
Bring here the negative self-talk and allow it to melt away. The “I’m not good enough”, “not loveable”, “not safe”, “not ______.”
If there is something you are looking to manifest in your life, this is the place to bring it! The Truth of who you are has the power to magnify your intentions, give you guidance during your moments indecision, and calm the gremlin voice of doubt.
If you had a way to exponentialize how quickly things show up in your life, how often would you use it? Monthly, weekly or daily?
Daily visitation to this space with your intentions is the best way to improve your life and magnify your sense of self-love, confidence, power and peace. I’ve created a 7-step process for visiting there I call The Elevator that you can do in a matter of moments so you can tap in deeply and regularly.
Grab a cup of tea, inhale your favorite essential oil, and be ready to meet your Essential Self!
Step 1. Set distractions aside. Take a deep, cleansing breath.
Step 2. Feel the expanding presence of this moment. Take a few moments to explore without judgement. What are the thoughts that pop in? What emotions seem to be bubbling up? Do you have sensations of tension or pain in your body?
Step 3. Shift into observer mode, simply noticing what shows up with curiosity. Everything in this moment is just an interesting point of view. There are no conditions, no attachments, no expectations — just you and the wisdom of your soul.
Step 4. Set the intention to journey to the center of your awareness, that mind-space that is the essence of stillness and allowance. It feels at once like the center of your brain, and yet expansive at the same time. (Anatomically this would be the pineal gland that connects to your intuitive self.) Breath and expand into it, allowing your physical sensations to fade.
Step 5. Becoming more aware of the formless being that is YOU in your purest soul form, feel yourself there being met by an elevator. As the door opens you feel safe and curious stepping inside, and it takes you down. Down. Down into a new dimension of your being, to the deepest center point within. Picture this space behind the heart below your shoulder blades.
Step 6. You have entered the sacred chamber where your essential self can be met to share with you wisdom, connection, peace and enlightenment. Allow the energy of this space to flow through you and fill your loving cup.
Step 7. Open up to share your questions, concerns and desires and know it all will be met with the light of unconditional love and that your questions will be answered from this divine and infinite wisdom. Listen. Breath. Feel it in your body as your Truth emerging.
As your visit wraps up, step back into the elevator, and as you ascend become more aware of your physical senses. Feel grounded in your newfound knowledge that’s been shared with you, and journal the experience with your Essential Self. Breath in the gratitude and that calming sense, knowing that this space always exists within you. You can visit again any time you like.
Indeed your Essential Self lives within and is waiting until your next enlightening visit!
